DG NILDS Condole with Speaker Abbas over Niece’s Death

The Director General of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), Prof. Abubakar  Sulaiman, has extended heartfelt condolences to the Speaker of the House of Representatives and Alternate Chairman of NILDS’ Governing Council, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, following the passing of his nieces death, Aisha Aliyu.

In a condolence message issued on Sunday, Prof. Sulaiman acknowledged the virtuous life of the late Aisha Aliyu, highlighting her positive impact on her family and loved ones.

He encouraged the Speaker to find solace in the enduring legacies she left behind.

“She will be remembered for her good deeds. Our prayers and thoughts are with the Rt. Hon. Speaker and his family during this period of grief,” Prof. Sulaiman stated.

He further prayed for Allah to grant her eternal rest in Al-Jannah Firdaus.

The late Aisha Aliyu, who passed away on Sunday, is survived by several siblings, including Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen,  Speaker of the House of Representatives.
