The Director General National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies, NILDS, National Assembly, Professor Abubakar Olanrewaju Sulaiman has admonished the Senior Cadre Staff to adhere to ethics of Professionalism to bolster service delivery.

According to statement signed by his Media Adviser Mohammad Abdulkadri ,Professor Sulaiman gave the charge on Wednesday 19th, February, 2025 at A- Two – Day Leadership Development Programme for Management Professionals of NILDS holding in Abuja.

The Director General who is the convener of the capacity building workshop for levels 15 and 16 in a lead paper titled ” Building Professionalism, Leadership and Management Skills in the public service made distinctions between Managers coping with competencies and good Leaders coping with value addition to bring about change in any system.

He said,” NILDS as a leading research Institute in west Africa Sub- region ,the workshop is a necessity and in line with his philosophy of building Staff capacity to bolster skills and competencies to achieve corporate mandate”.

The Chairman Senate Committee on North West Development Commission, Senator Hussain Babangida Uba who declared the workshop open commended the Director General NILDS, Professor Abubakar Olanrewaju Sulaiman for his unwavering commitment to building the Skills of the Staff and taking the institute to greater heights.
