Easter: DG NILDS Urges Christians to Reflect On God’s Love For Humanity

The Director General National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies, NILDS, Professor Abubakar Sulaiman has congratulated Christians on this year’s 2025 celebration of Easter which is to commemorate the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

In the DG’s Easter message issued on Friday by his Media Adviser Mohammad Abdulkadri, Professor Sulaiman says the celebration of Easter holidays offer ample time and opportunity for Christians to pray for the country and it’s leadership as well as to deepen peaceful co-existence with other people irrespective of religious differences.

While wishing the entire Christians a memorable and hitch-free Good Friday and Easter Monday celebrations marking the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, Prof. Sulaiman urged them to reflect on God’s love for humanity and to replicate the same in their inter-personal relationships with others towards fostering good neighbourliness at all times.
