NILDS Management, Staff Commiserate DG Over Brother’s Death

The National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies NILDS, Permanent Site and it’s subsidiaries including the Democracy Radio were thrown into a state of complete mourning on Wednesday 11th June 2025 when the news of the death of the senior brother of the Director General Professor Abubakar Olanrewaju Sulaiman filtered through authoritative sources.

The death of Sheikh Isiaka Sulaiman which occurred in the evening of 10th June 2025 made the management and staff of the Institute to be overwhelmed by sadness as they shared the pains of their Chief Executive for the loss of a well loved brother and a father figure at this moment when his wisdom and guidance are mostly required.

While commiserating and identifying with Professor Sulaiman in his low moments over the irreparable loss they prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased and accept him into Jannat Firdaus just as they also besieged God to uphold the Director General NILDS and to grant the entire Sulaiman’s family the fortitude to bear the huge loss.
