Dangote Group has strengthened its commitment to boosting intra-African trade by becoming an Official Premier Partner for the 2025 Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF), set to generate over $44 billion in trade and investment deals.

The highly anticipated event, organized by Afreximbank in collaboration with the African Union Commission and the AfCFTA Secretariat, will take place in Algiers, Algeria, in September 2025.

The fourth edition of the IATF aims to accelerate economic integration across Africa, providing a robust platform for businesses to showcase products, services, and investment opportunities. With over 2,000 exhibitors and thousands of buyers expected, the fair will host trade forums, business networking sessions, and industry-specific showcases.

Speaking on the partnership, Kanayo Awani, Afreximbank’s Executive Vice President for Intra-African Trade and Export Development, praised Dangote Group for its role in driving industrial growth across the continent.

“We are delighted to welcome Dangote Group as an Official Premier Partner of IATF2025. This strategic partnership underscores our shared commitment to building a self-reliant, prosperous Africa where intra-African trade is the cornerstone of growth,”Awani said.

Anthony Chiejina, Group Chief Branding & Communications Officer of Dangote Industries Limited, described the partnership as a strategic step toward unlocking new trade frontiers

“Our partnership with IATF is built on a shared vision of commitment to advancing Africa’s economic growth. Having experienced the tangible impact of IATF2023, we are proud to build on that momentum as a Premier Partner for IATF2025. This platform continues to drive meaningful connections and opportunities across the continent, and we look forward to contributing to its success once again in Algiers,” Chiejina stated.

He added, “This strategic partnership underscores our shared commitment to building a self-reliant, prosperous Africa where intra-African trade is the cornerstone of growth. Together, we aim to unlock new frontiers of opportunity and position Africa as a global hub of production, innovation, and trade.”
