As thousands of 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream II corps members conclude their national service, the Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier-General Olakunle Nafiu, has urged them to look ahead with determination and purpose.

In a statement shared via the official X handle of the NYSC on Thursday, Nafiu commended the corps members for their year-long contributions to national development through various assignments and community-based projects.

“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to our 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Corps Members as they celebrate the successful completion of their mandatory service year,” the statement read.

The DG encouraged the outgoing corps members to adopt a forward-thinking mindset, stressing the need for leadership, adaptability, and a drive for innovation in tackling the country’s future challenges.

“Your hard work and commitment to building a new Nigeria have not gone unnoticed… Be open to change, lead with confidence and innovative ideas. Go forth and represent the NYSC as its proud ambassadors,” he added.
