Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has raised concerns over building safety in Lekki after a section of the POP ceiling in her home suddenly collapsed, narrowly missing her and her newly acquired car.

The actress shared the shocking incident on Instagram on Tuesday, posting a video of the damage and describing it as an experience she had never encountered before.

“Come to Lekki they said. Thank God no be inside house and my new car no Dey there…wetin I for talk abeg? It’s well with una Lekki developers,” she wrote, expressing gratitude that the collapse did not result in injuries or property loss.

The actress’ ordeal has sparked renewed conversations about the quality of housing developments in the upscale Lagos district, where rapid construction has often drawn criticism over safety standards.
