The final phase of the 2025 Comptroller General of Customs Volleyball Premier League served up explosive action on Tuesday night, with CNS Spikers, Nigeria Customs Service, and the Nigeria Police Force cruising to commanding victories at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
Reigning champions CNS Spikers began their title defence in ruthless fashion, dismantling the Nigeria Correctional Service 3–0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-18).

The champions controlled the rhythm from start to finish, showing superior coordination, power, and tactical balance.
Two-time league champions Offa Volleyball Club also delivered a statement performance, sweeping 2024 bronze medallists Kada Kings 3–0 (25-19, 25-16, 26-24).
Though Kada Kings fought hard in the third set, they could not overturn Offa’s momentum.

Sunshine Spikers added to the day’s clean-sheet victories with a solid 3–0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-22) win over UCEM, while multiple-time champions Nigeria Customs Service overpowered NAF Rockets 3–0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-18), showing early signs of another deep run in the competition.
The only shock of the day came in the clash between COAS Spikers and Kano Pillars. Despite winning the first set 25–22, COAS faded under intense pressure as Pillars mounted a fierce comeback to win 3–1 (25-22, 16-25, 18-25, 20-25).

The Nigeria Police Force wrapped up Matchday 1 with a disciplined 3–0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-20) victory over NSCDC, showcasing sharp transitions and excellent ball control.
