The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, Mohammed Isa, has inaugurated a Technical Working Committee for the launch of a new book documenting key reforms of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
The book, titled “The New Nigeria: Compliment to the Game-Changer,” is an initiative of the International Christian Organisation for Sustainable Development (ICOSD) in partnership with the Office of the SSA.
It is dedicated to President Tinubu in alignment with his Renewed Hope Agenda.
Speaking at the inauguration on Monday, Isa conveyed the President’s goodwill to stakeholders, describing the project as a timely documentation of the administration’s bold reforms, inclusive growth strategy and decisive leadership.
He said the book, authored by Dr Joseph Vambe with a foreword by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, chronicles Nigeria’s ongoing transformation under President Tinubu.
According to Isa, the publication captures key policy decisions, strategic reforms and milestones of the administration, inviting Nigerians to appreciate what he described as a defining moment in the nation’s journey.
Isa charged members of the Technical Working Committee to work diligently towards delivering a successful and nationally impactful book launch.
He stressed the importance of strict adherence to the approved terms of reference, implementation framework and sponsorship plan, while emphasising teamwork, professionalism, accountability and dedication.
In his remarks, the Chairman, Board of Trustees of ICOSD and author of the book, Dr Joseph Vambe, said the project was inspired by President Tinubu’s emergence and the reforms introduced since he assumed office.
Vambe explained that ICOSD began documenting the administration’s activities from its first day in office to provide verifiable evidence of Nigeria’s transformation, which he described as the emergence of a “New Nigeria.”
He commended Isa for his support, noting that the partnership with the Office of the SSA gave the project renewed momentum after earlier engagements with other institutions.
The collaboration, he added, is aimed at promoting empowerment initiatives, advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda and supporting Nigeria’s aspiration of achieving a trillion-dollar economy.
In his closing remarks, the Chairman of the Technical Working Committee, Emmanuel Afolabi, thanked the SSA for the warm reception and pledged the committee’s full commitment to the assignment.
Afolabi assured that members would operate strictly within established guidelines to ensure a successful book launch and contribute to national development in line with President Tinubu’s vision.
