Hezbollah says it has joined the latest wave of escalatory strikes in the Middle East by targeting a group of Israeli army vehicles and soldiers in southern Lebanon.
In an update on Telegram, the group claims it fired a rocket barrage at a gathering of military vehicles and soldiers on the outskirts of Beit Yahoun.
This, it says, is in response to Israel’s “violation of the ceasefire and its attacks on villages in southern Lebanon”.
Israel has not yet commented on the attack and the extent of any damage or injuries is unclear.
