ANSFA Hails Governor Soludo’s Re-Election

The Anambra State Football Association (ANSFA) has congratulated the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo on his victory at the November 8 gubernatorial elections.

ANSFA described the triumph as a testament to Soludo’s “visionary leadership and deep connection with the people.”

In a congratulatory message issued on Sunday, the Chairman of ANSFA, Chikelue Iloenyosi, lauded Governor Soludo’s commitment to good governance, innovation, and youth empowerment, which he said has continued to inspire hope and progress across the state.

“This is a momentous occasion for Ndi Anambra,” Iloenyosi said. “Your victory reflects the confidence and trust our people have in your leadership. We are elated to celebrate this well-deserved success because your dedication, transformative vision, and people-centered governance have truly set Anambra on the path of sustainable growth.”

The ANSFA Chairman, a former Super Eagles player and football administrator, noted that the Governor’s renewed mandate was not only a reward for his outstanding performance but also a call to further consolidate on the gains of his first term, particularly in areas of sports and youth development.

“Under your administration, we have seen a genuine interest in reviving sports and creating platforms for young people to thrive. We at ANSFA are optimistic that this new tenure will deepen those efforts and open more opportunities for the next generation of football talents in the state,” Iloenyosi added.

Iloenyosi further pledged the full support and collaboration of the state’s football body towards realizing the Governor’s vision for a prosperous, youth-driven Anambra.

“We look forward to even greater collaboration between the government and the football family. Together, we can harness the energy of our young people through sports and make Anambra a model for excellence both on and off the pitch,” he said.
