APC to Use CSO Feedback for Tinubu’s 2027 Manifesto

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council says it will incorporate feedback from civil society organisations (CSOs) into President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election manifesto.

The Secretary of the Directorate of Civil Society Mobilisation, Barrister Bridget Sulaiman, disclosed this in a statement announcing the launch of structured consultations with civil society groups nationwide.

Sulaiman said recommendations from the engagements would be submitted to the party’s Policy and Manifesto Development Team.

She explained that the consultations would feature state-level forums, policy dialogues and interactive sessions to address issues affecting citizens.

According to her, the Directorate has completed a nationwide mapping of civil society organisations, community-based organisations and other non-state actors across national, zonal, state, local government, ward and community levels.

The consultations will focus on governance, social inclusion, public accountability, sustainable development, human rights and justice.

Sulaiman said the initiative would provide an opportunity for civil society groups to assess government policies, share their perspectives and make recommendations for the 2027 manifesto.

She added that the Directorate was undertaking the assignment under the leadership of Senator Abdulaziz Yari, Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.

Sulaiman also disclosed that Kaduna State hosted the flag-off of the APC presidential campaign last week, commending Governor Uba Sani for leading the event.

The Directorate said the Kaduna exercise marked the beginning of its nationwide campaign engagement and mobilisation efforts.
