Customs, COAS, Others Storm NVBF Super Cup Finals in Abuja

The Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) Super Cup 2026 is heading for a thrilling conclusion in Abuja after a series of high-quality encounters produced the finalists in both the men’s and women’s categories.

Nigeria Customs Service stamped their authority in the women’s semifinals with a dominant 3-0 victory over Vipers Spikers, winning 25-17, 25-23, 25-17 to secure a comfortable passage into the championship match.

COAS Spikers will be their opponents after mounting a strong comeback to defeat CNS Spikers 3-1 (14-25, 25-17, 25-23, 25-22).

Despite dropping the opening set, COAS responded with renewed intensity and tactical discipline to overturn the deficit and book their place in the final.

In the men’s competition, CNS Spikers delivered a composed performance to sweep past Defence Spikers 3-0 (25-22, 25-18, 25-23), controlling key moments of the match to advance confidently.

Nigeria Customs Service completed the men’s final lineup with a solid 3-1 win over Nigeria Correctional Service, taking the sets 25-23, 22-25, 25-18, 25-21 to set up a blockbuster clash against CNS Spikers.

Earlier in the classification match, Life Camp Volleyball Club showed resilience and fighting spirit to defeat Ajase 3-2 (17-25, 25-23, 25-23, 22-25, 15-11), finishing fifth in the men’s category after one of the tournament’s most competitive fixtures.

Final Day Fixtures – Friday, February 7 (Abuja):

Men’s 3rd Place: Defence Spikers vs Nigeria Correctional Service – 9am

Women’s 3rd Place: CNS Spikers vs Vipers Spikers – 11am

Women’s Final: COAS Spikers vs Nigeria Customs Service – 1pm

Men’s Final: Nigeria Customs Service vs CNS Spikers – 4pm

With powerhouse teams peaking at the right moment and bragging rights at stake, the NVBF Super Cup 2026 promises an electrifying finale as fans look forward to witnessing who will emerge champions in Abuja.
