Davido Sells Out 12 North American Venues on 5 Alive Tour

Nigerian music superstar Davido has achieved a major milestone on his 5 Alive North American Tour, selling out 12 venues across the continent, including the iconic Merriweather Post Pavilion in Maryland, where he performed on August 5, 2025.

After the concert, Davido celebrated with fans and his team, cutting a cake to mark the record-breaking achievement.

“We did it. We sold out every night and made millions of dollars. If you dream it, it’s possible. With God, everything is possible. With all the odds against me, we made it happen,” Davido said during the celebration.

The 5 Alive Tour has seen Davido perform at some of North America’s biggest venues, including Canada’s Scotiabank Arena, a 19,000-capacity venue and home to NBA team Toronto Raptors. This achievement places Davido alongside Asake, Burna Boy, and Rema as Nigerian artists who have sold out the venue.

The tour has also showcased Davido’s versatility and exceptional stage performance, earning praise from fans and critics alike.

Davido credited Cobhams Asuquo, legendary Nigerian music producer, musician, and composer, as the music director for the tour.
