DG NILDS Appoints Seasoned Communication Expert as Personal Assistant

The Director General of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), Professor Abubakar Sulaiman, has appointed veteran journalist Mr. Zakariyau Mohammed Ndagiyama as his Personal Assistant on Communication and Strategy.

According to a statement issued by the Institute, the appointment — dated Tuesday, November 4, 2025, and signed by the Acting Director of Administration and Human Resources, Musbau Olalere Moshood — takes immediate effect.

Ndagiyama, a seasoned communication professional, brings with him years of experience and a distinguished track record in journalism.

His appointment is seen as a strategic move by the NILDS Director General to strengthen the Institute’s communication machinery and enhance visibility for its growing range of activities.

The statement adds that Professor Sulaiman’s decision underscores his commitment to effective information management and proactive engagement with the media and public.
