DG NILDS Congratulates Wopa’s Emergence as Vice President of Aquatic Sports Federation

Director-General of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), Professor Abubakar Sulaiman, has congratulated Alhaji Abdulrasak Owolabi Wopa on his election as Vice President of the Aquatic/Swimming Federation of Nigeria.

In a statement issued on Sunday by his Media Adviser, Mohammad Abdulkadri, Professor Sulaiman described Wopa’s victory as a reflection of his leadership qualities, dedication, and passion for the growth of aquatic sports in the country.

The NILDS boss, who noted that Wopa serves as one of his trusted personal aides, also congratulated other elected members of the federation, urging them to remain united and focused in achieving the objectives for which they were elected.

Professor Sulaiman, a former Minister of National Planning and a known sports enthusiast, wished the new executive members of the Swimming Federation success in their forthcoming regional and international engagements, expressing optimism that they would bring glory to Nigeria.
