The Director-General of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), Professor Abubakar Sulaiman, has congratulated the Board Chairman of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Senator Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe, on his 65th birthday anniversary.

In a statement issued on Wednesday by his Media Adviser, Mohammad Abdulkadri, Professor Sulaiman described Senator Oloriegbe as a visionary leader whose life has been marked by selfless service, integrity, and unwavering commitment to national development. He noted that the former lawmaker’s contributions to Nigeria, particularly to Kwara State and the Ilorin Emirate, remain deeply impactful.

Recalling Oloriegbe’s tenure as a member of the 9th National Assembly (2019–2023), Professor Sulaiman highlighted his pivotal role in facilitating the establishment of the Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Ilorin — a feat he described as a lasting testament to the senator’s dedication to improving healthcare in his constituency.

The NILDS Director-General further lauded Senator Oloriegbe as “a brother, a friend, and a principled politician” whose steadfast belief in the Nigerian project continues to inspire others.

Professor Sulaiman prayed for God’s continued guidance, good health, and long life for the celebrant to enable him to contribute further to the service of the nation.
