The Director General National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies NILDS, Professor Abubakar Sulaiman has described the death of a frontline Tijaniyyah’s Movement Sheikh Abubakar Yusuf Agbade as a colossal loss to the entire Muslim Ummah globally.

This is contained in a statement issued on Thursday by his Media Aide Mohammad Abdulkadri.

Professor Sulaiman who was heartbroken following the shocking news of the death of Sheikh Agbade said in his words “it’s one death too many in recent times that casts dark clouds on the city of Ilorin.

With a profound sense of sadness, he said the deceased has etched his name in the heart of believers as a strong man of faith, a distinguished cleric, a great scholar in the Islamic evangelical space in Nigeria and beyond.

He called for special prayers to God Almighty to halt the frequency of the deaths of esteemed sheikhs in Ilorin.

The great community leader in Ilorin prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the late Leader of the Tijaniyyah Movements in Kwara State and to grant his loved ones the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
