DG NILDS Tells Leaders to Prioritize Implementation of Gender Inclusivity Policy

Leaders at all level of governance have been urge to recommit to implementating goals on Gender Inclusivity Policy.

This is according to the Director General, National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies, NILDS, Professor Abubakar Olanrewaju Sulaiman.

Professor Sulaiman states this on Wednesday when the Deputy Director MacArthur Africa Office, Dr. Amina Salihu, paid a working visit to the Director General’s office.

He says NILDS as the academic component of the National Assembly has done a lot in supporting the advocacy for gender inclusion policy and its implementation.

A statement on a Wednesday by the Media Adviser To DG NILDS, Mohammad Abdulkadri, the DG who is a “He for She Champion” adds that NILDS’s passion for gender balance led to the establishment of Gender Inclusivity Unit that has been working very closely with the MacArthur Foundation.

Profess Sulaiman also commends the vibrancy and the energy of the Deputy Director MacArthur Africa Office, Dr. Amina Salihu.

He assures her of the collaborative support of NILDS towards achieving better awareness for the implementation of gender inclusive strategy.
