In a statement signed by the Chairman of the Commission, Blessing Agbomhere, the Senate’s action was described as a confirmation of the suitability of the nominees for the roles.

The Commission notes that the nominations, made by President Bola Tinubu, followed the nominees’ previous public and professional engagements, adding that their appointments come at a time when Nigeria’s international relations and global engagement remain significant.
