The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Bishop Stephen Adegbite has congratulated the Muslim faithful in Nigeria for the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.

In a message signed by Celestine Toruka, Deputy Director and Head Media and Public Relations Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, the NCPC boss enjoined Muslims to ensure that the lessons and blessings of Ramadan guide them on the right path of life.

Bishop Adegbite maintained that it is not a coincidence that both Ramadan and Lenten season for Christians happened simultaneously, stating that it was providential that the two dominant faiths had to wait on the Lord at a time like this in the history of the nation.

He urged them to celebrate moderately with one another and extend their hand of fellowship to the less privileged.

The NCPC helmsman also urged them to continue to uphold President Bola Tinubu in prayer so that the Renewed Hope agenda of his administration would impact on the people of Nigeria.

He admonished them to pray for the well being of the President and those in leadership positions in Nigeria both at the Federal, States and Local government.

Additionally, he equally urged them to pray for peace and stability of Nigeria because without peace no nation can achieve any meaningful development.
