The Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) has expressed deep concern over the reported abduction of several civil servants in Kabba, Kogi State, as they traveled to Abuja to sit for the ongoing Computer-Based Test (CBT) promotion examinations conducted by the Federal Civil Service Commission.

OHCSF condemns the abduction of civil servants in Kogi traveling to Abuja for CBT exams, urging calm and praying for their safe release.

On Wednesday, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HCSF), Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, conveyed heartfelt sympathy to the abducted officers, their families, and colleagues across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).

“Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this most difficult time. We join all well-meaning Nigerians in fervent prayers for their safe and speedy release,” Walson-Jack said, urging calm and vigilance among civil servants and the general public.

She expressed confidence in security agencies’ ability to ensure the swift and safe rescue of the abducted workers, adding that the Federal Civil Service remains committed to the welfare, safety, and well-being of its workforce.
