GUN MEN ATTACK TRAVELLERS ALONG SAGAMU-IJEBU-ODE ON SUNDAY ABDUCTING 20

About twenty travellers have been abducted by gunmen along Sagamu-Ijebu-Ode Expressway.  The travellers were ambushed on Sunday June 30, around 9:00 PM along Sagamu area command of the Nigeria Police Force and Ilishan
Township.
The Ogun State Police Command is yet to comment on the incident as at the time of filing this report.  Meanwhile, according to a resident and chairman of the Ilishan Development Council, Wemmy Osude, a victim was shot in the knee during the incident and currently receiving medical treatment at Babcock University Teaching Hospital after being shot on the kneel by the suspected gunmen.
Osude who said he had spoken with the resident receiving treatment, also mentioned discussing the incident with the Sagamu Area Commander, believing that security agents would pursue the criminals and rescue the abducted individuals.
