The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has instructed all 2025 UTME candidates who uploaded their O’level results before the release of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results to revisit accredited centres and re-upload their final WAEC results.
The directive, contained in JAMB’s weekly news bulletin on Monday, explained that all earlier uploads have been wiped from the system to eliminate discrepancies and ensure that only official WAEC results are used in admission processes.
According to the Board,“Some candidates who sat for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with ‘awaiting results’ had prematurely uploaded incomplete WAEC records before the final release. To address the issue, JAMB has mandated a fresh upload for every candidate, irrespective of whether the new results differ from those uploaded earlier.”
The Board further emphasized that candidates who fail to re-upload their results may risk being excluded from admission consideration.
This latest directive underscores JAMB’s efforts to ensure accuracy, fairness, and transparency in Nigeria’s admission process for the 2025 academic year.
