Nigeria’s Female Yellow Greens have suffered a heavy setback at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Division One Qualifier in Windhoek.The team was bowled out for just 70 runs in 18.4 overs, with Salome Sunday top-scoring on 22. Namibia’s bowlers dominated, led by S. Tahaduleni with 3 wickets for 13 runs.

In response, the hosts raced to 71 for 2 in under 10 overs. Yasmeen Khan fired a rapid 51 off 30 balls to seal an emphatic 8-wicket victory.

Despite the loss, Nigeria still has qualification hopes alive as they prepare for their next crucial match against Zimbabwe on September 3.
