The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Prof. Stephen Adegbite, has paid tribute to the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, as she celebrates her 65th birthday today.
In his congratulatory message signed by Celestine Toruka, Deputy Director and Head of Media and Public Relations at NCPC, Bishop Adegbite described the First Lady as “the indisputable Mother of the Nation and the Esther of our time,” noting her unique place in Nigeria’s history as both a Distinguished Senator and the first ordained minister of God to serve as First Lady.
He hailed her as a “quintessential leader, a pacesetter, and a rare gem” whose contributions to the nation, particularly in the current democratic dispensation, will remain indelible.
“Your unwavering support to Mr. President is palpable even to the blind,” Adegbite stated, praising her commitment to the less privileged, women, and children. He further commended her love for humanity, describing it as “contagious and uncanny.”
On behalf of the NCPC Board, management, and staff, Adegbite extended warm felicitations to Senator Tinubu, referring to her as “the Mother of NCPC” and celebrating her steadfast faith in God’s guidance.
The NCPC boss urged the First Lady to continue upholding her devotion to God, assuring her that divine grace and strength would sustain her in her service to both the nation and humanity.
He also prayed for her continued good health, long life, and greater milestones in her work of uplifting vulnerable Nigerians.
