Customs Auction Seized Fuel at ₦10,000 per 25 Litres

By Oluwakemi Kindness The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), has announced the seizure of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) worth over ₦63 million in the Lagos-Ogun axis. This is as the Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi as approved the immediate auction of the seized fuel at a subsidised rate of ₦10,000 per jerrycan. The seizure consist of 1,577 jerrycans of 25 litres each—totalling 39,425 litres of PMS—along with eight vehicles used for transportation.
