NOA, Partners carry out Fire Safety Awareness in Wuse Market, Abuja

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) FCT Directorate, in partnership with NEMA, the FCT Fire Service, and other agencies, have carried out a Market Fire Safety Roadshow at Wuse Market, Abuja.

They educated Traders, shop owners, and drivers on fire prevention and safety practices, with guidance delivered in major Nigerian languages.

The session included practical tips on safe electrical use, storage of flammable materials, and proper handling of fire extinguishers, complete with live demonstrations.

A statement on Thursday says participants showed keen interest, asking questions and engaging actively with the trainers.

The NOA urged all market stakeholders to stay alert and adopt safe practices to prevent fire hazards.
