The Nigeria Rugby Football Federation (NRFF) has reinforced its commitment to elite player development with the renewal of its partnership with Cross-Fit Lagos Gymnasium—an important step toward enhancing the physical conditioning of Nigerian rugby athletes ahead of league competitions and international duties.

The newly renewed one-year agreement ensures that both home-based and foreign-based national team players continue to enjoy access to world-class strength and conditioning programs during national camps and training windows.

The collaboration also gives Cross-Fit Lagos the opportunity to deepen its ties with the federation while benefiting from the growing influence and goodwill of Nigerian rugby.

NRFF President, Ademola Are, described the renewal as a major boost for the Black Stallions and other national teams.

“This is a wonderful development, especially for all our national team players when they are in camp, and we look forward to consolidating on this partnership,” he said.

Under the renewed terms, Cross-Fit Lagos will deliver a robust strength and conditioning framework tailored to the physical demands of modern rugby. This includes team-focused programs as well as individual consulting services designed to optimize player performance.

Cross-Fit Lagos Owner, Mr. Isaac Amadi, expressed excitement about the continued collaboration and reaffirmed the gym’s commitment to supporting the federation’s fitness goals.

“We are glad to partner with the Nigerian Rugby Football Federation for their strength and conditioning training. We are committed to providing the best of our coaching expertise and facilities to support the Black Stallions’ fitness goals over the next two years, with the possibility of extending the partnership. We are also open to joining the team in camp if needed—as the Black Stallions say, One Team, One Dream.”

The renewed partnership underscores the NRFF’s drive to build stronger, fitter, and more competitive national teams—laying the foundation for improved performances on the continental and global stage.
