NVBF Seeks Stronger Partnership with Abia State Government

The Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) has lauded the Abia State Government for its unwavering support and collaboration in hosting the final phase of the 2025 National Division 1 and 2 Volleyball Leagues.

In a statement signed by NVBF President, Musa Nimrod, the federation praised the state’s hospitality and commitment to sports development, noting that the success of the championship was a direct result of the fruitful partnership between both parties.

“The Board of Administration of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation, on behalf of the entire volleyball community, extends heartfelt appreciation to the Government and people of Abia State for their noble collaboration in organizing the final phase of Divisions 1 and 2,” Nimrod said.

He further described Abia as an emerging hub for volleyball in Nigeria, attributing the sport’s steady growth to the government’s strategic investment in youth and sports development.

Nimrod reaffirmed NVBF’s commitment to sustaining and deepening its partnership with Abia State, adding that the federation looks forward to more impactful collaborations that will enhance volleyball and empower young talents nationwide.
