PDP Intellectuals Advocate for southern Zoning of Presidency in 2027

A coalition of the People Democratic Party (PDP) intellectuals, has called for the Zoning of the 2027 Presidency to the Southern part of the country.

National Coordinator of the coalition, comrade Grema Muhammad, who stated this at a press conference in Abuja, on Monday, said the PDP is ready to restore its party flag to its former glory and zone the presidency to the south come 2027 election.

Grema who noted the need to unite the party, stressed that this will only be achieved by equity, fairness and justice by Zoning the Presidency to the South.

Speaking further, the coalition warned leaders of the party to put party interest first while calling on competent and dedicated PDP members who can effectively run the country and return Nigeria to her glory days to come forward.

The Publicity Secretary of the Coalition, Comrade Usman Saidu, said justice could only be achieved in the party by zoning the 2027 Presidency to the South.

”We are calling for a twin reform of zoning party tickets to the south and seeking out competency and ability as the guiding benchmark.”

Comrade Saidu said the Coalition was made up of all the PDP Global Network of support groups which comprises of intellectuals and persons of integrity.
