Abuja – Day 6 of the 2025 National Division I and II Volleyball League produced thrilling encounters across both divisions, with Safety Spikers and Adamawa Spartans emerging as standout performers in the men’s Division I, while Fire Service, Bayelsa Spikers, and Rhino Spikers stamped their authority in Division II.

In Division I, Safety Spikers extended their unbeaten run with commanding victories. They swept aside G-Rank Spikers twice (2–0, 25-17, 25-23 in both meetings) and added another straight-set triumph over Kwara United (25-23, 25-23). Adamawa Spartans also enjoyed a strong outing, defeating Sword VC Benue in a nail-biting three-setter (22-25, 26-24, 19-17) before overpowering Katsina United (25-22, 25-18) and edging Sword again in another tight contest (25-22, 24-26, 19-17).

Elsewhere, Kwara United edged Katsina United 2–1 in their opener but later fell to Safety Spikers. Life Camp VC outclassed Wikki Spikers 2–0 before losing to Ajase Ipo, who themselves bounced back from an earlier defeat to Defence Spikers. Sword VC suffered a tough day, losing narrowly to NIS (25-27, 31-33) and Adamawa Spartans despite pushing both games to the wire.

In Division II, Bayelsa Spikers continued their fine form with two wins, overcoming Plateau Rocks (25-20, 29-27) and Ekiti Spikers (28-26, 25-17) before a narrow loss to Excelsior (18-25, 25-12, 15-8). Fire Service dominated their fixtures, easing past Excelsior (25-18, 25-18) and Light Spikers (25-15, 25-17), while Rhino Spikers recorded double victories against Ekiti (25-19, 25-20) and Sokoto Caliphate (25-22, 25-18).

Kuje United impressed with a comeback win over Bayelsa Spikers (23-25, 25-23, 21-19) and later silenced Edo Beads (33-31, 25-18). Light Spikers managed a win over Edo Beads but could not withstand Fire Service’s firepower. Meanwhile, Net Force endured another frustrating day, losing to both Plateau Rocks and Sokoto Caliphate.

The results leave the league finely poised, with Safety Spikers and Adamawa Spartans in commanding form in Division I, while Fire Service, Bayelsa Spikers, and Rhino Spikers continue to set the pace in Division II.
