The race for the 2025 HerGame Girls Football Championship crown has intensified as defending champions Fosla Academy, alongside Generation Next, Horvel Angels, and SIK Paragon, stormed into the semi-finals after a thrilling knockout round on Wednesday in Abuja.
Generation Next booked their place with a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Jeremiah Angels, showcasing the tactical discipline and sharp execution that has made them one of the most consistent sides of the tournament.
Reigning champions Fosla Academy kept their title defence on track after narrowly defeating BIA Angels 1–0 in a tense fixture defined by a single moment of quality. The holders remain firm favourites but face a stern test ahead.

Horvel Angels produced arguably the standout performance of the day, edging Nazareth Queens 1–0 to celebrate their first-ever semi-final appearance — a historic milestone for the fast-rising club.
From Jos, SIK Paragon completed the last four lineup with a dominant 2–0 win over Talent Developer, combining physical superiority with clinical finishing to assert their title credentials.
With the competition entering its decisive phase, fans can look forward to two blockbuster semi-final clashes:
