Nigerian Southern Senators Forum has expressed sadness and commiserated with Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’ Adua and the entire Yar’Adua family over the passage of their matriarch Hajiya Dada Musa Yar’ Adua.

In a statement personally signed by the Chairman  of the forum,Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, the lawmaker eulogised the Hajiya Yar’ Adua on behalf of his colleagues.

“I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of the beloved mother of our colleague Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua, the Chairman of the Northern Senators Forum.

Hajiya Dada Musa Yar’Adua was not only a pillar of strength to the Yar’Adua family but also the revered matriarch of one of Nigeria’s most distinguished families. Her departure marks the end of an era and leaves a void that will be profoundly felt by all who knew her”.

Senator Abiru  added that  “As the mother of the Chairman of the Northern Senators Forum and of our beloved former President, His Excellency Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, she was a source of inspiration, nurturing a legacy of service and leadership that has greatly impacted our nation. Her grace, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to her family and community will forever be remembered”

He condoled with Senator Yar’Adua by saying” during this time of great loss, I on behalf of the forum extend our heartfelt condolences to Senator Abdulaziz, the entire family and the government and people of Katsina State. May they find comfort in the cherished memories that they shared, and may the Almighty Allah grant her Al Jannah Firdaus. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Please accept my deepest sympathies”
