Speaker Abbas congratulates APC candidates after Kaduna State by-election victories.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen, has congratulated the All Progressives Congress (APC) on its victory at the by-elections held on Saturday in Zaria Kewaye State Constituency, Basawa State Constituency, and Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdullahi Krishi, on Sunday, the Speaker describes the APC’s performance as a reaffirmation of the party’s popularity and acceptance across the country.

Speaker Abbas specifically congratulate the APC candidate for Zaria Kewaye, Isah Haruna Mohammed (Ihamo), describing him as “the right man for the job.”

He also lauds the victories of Fidelix Joseph Bagudu (Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency) and Sani Dahiru (Basawa State Constituency), describing their wins as well-deserved.

The Speaker extends his felicitations to all APC candidates who emerged victorious in other states, noting that the outcome of the polls reflected the unwavering support of Nigerians for the ruling party.

“I am delighted to congratulate our party and its candidates on this massive victory. It has only reaffirmed the popularity of the APC, not just in Kaduna State but across Nigeria,” he said.

“I felicitate Governor Uba Sani, CON, the APC family at both the federal and state levels, and our teeming supporters for this victory. This win is indeed reassuring as the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, works tirelessly to reposition the country and improve the living conditions of our citizens. It clearly shows that the APC remains the party of choice for the majority of Nigerians and the party to beat in all future elections.”

Visibly elated by the outcome, Speaker Abbas expresses gratitude to the electorate for their confidence in the APC, assuring them that the party and its leadership would not let them down.

Following the close of polls on Saturday, the Speaker embarked on a thank-you tour of the seven electoral wards in Zaria Kewaye State Constituency, where he was warmly received by enthusiastic crowds.

He visited polling units in Angwan Dankali (Kufena Ward), Kamfanin Saye (Dutsen Abba Ward), Gangaren Kwadi (Tudun Wada Ward), Unguwar Kaya (Gyallesu Ward), Bako Zuntu Street (Tukur-Tukur Ward), Bizara (Wuchichiri Ward), Wuchichiri Polling Unit (Wuchichiri Ward), and Mangu (Dambo Ward).

The by-election, he notes, was conducted peacefully, with the electorate and electoral officials comporting themselves in an orderly and commendable manner.
