Afrobeats stars Tems and Burna Boy have made history becoming the African artists with the most entries on the Billboard Hot 100, surpassing South African rock band Seether.

The milestone follows their latest appearances on the chart through features on J. Cole’s new album The Fall-Off.

Bounce Road Blues, featuring Tems and Future, debuted at number 34, while Only You, featuring Burna Boy, entered at number 78.

These releases bring both artists’ total Hot 100 entries to eight.

Tems has also emerged as the African artist with the most Billboard Hot 100 entries in 2026, recording three chart appearances so far this year.

Earlier, she became the first African female artist to reach seven entries on the chart, a record she shared at the time with Burna Boy and Seether.

Burna Boy, meanwhile, has extended his own record by becoming the first African artist to place a song on the Hot 100 for six consecutive years, from 2021 to 2026.

His charting tracks over the period include Loved By You (2021), Last Last (2022), Sittin’ On Top Of The World and Talibans II (2023), Just Like Me and We Pray (2024), WGFT (2025), and Only You (2026).
