Wike Mourns Former Head of Service, Assures Support for Family

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of the former Head of Service of FCT Administration. During a condolence visit to the bereaved family, Wike praised her dedication, humility, and tireless commitment to duty, describing her passing as a painful loss.

He recalled how she came highly recommended for the role and proved to be a dependable civil servant who served with distinction until retirement. The Minister described her as a true Christian, community leader, and a rare blend of professionalism and empathy.

He pledged that the FCT Administration will fully sponsor her burial and ensure the welfare of her immediate family, including employment support for her children. Wike however, urged the family to take solace in her impactful life, assuring them that while no one can replace her, the FCT Administration will continue to stand by them.
