Your Appointment, Well Deserved, DG NILDS Hails New Imam of National Mosque

The Director General National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies, NILDS, National Assembly, Professor Abubakar Sulaiman, has hailed the appointment of the new Imam of the National Mosque, Abuja, Dr. Abdulkadir Salman Solagberu (the Malami Ubandoma Ilorin Emirate)

In a statement issued by his Media Adviser, Mohammad Abdulkadri, the NILDS DG congratulated the new Imam and expressed deep joy with his appointment as one of the Imams of the National Mosque.

He noted that the symbolism of his Strategic and well-deserved appointment as an erudite Islamic Scholar of National and international repute is an eloquent testament to the age-long reputation of Ilorin as a citadel of Islam and a city of great Islamic scholars.

While thanking the leadership of the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) under His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, CFR and the Chairman National Mosque Management Committee, His Royal Highness, the Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, CFR, the NILDS boss urged the appointee to remain a good ambassador of Ilorin and Islam by always prioritising National Unity, Cohesion between and among Muslim Ummah and rancour-free Inter-religious Affairs in his sermons.
