The much-anticipated Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) Super Finals is set to take centre stage at the picturesque Jabi Lake Park, Abuja, from November 6–9, 2025, promising an unforgettable spectacle of skill, entertainment, and social impact.
Speaking during a Media Parley ahead of the grand showdown, National Coordinator of the NBSL, Mahmud Hadeija, expressed optimism that this year’s edition would surpass previous ones in organisation, participation, and overall excitement.
“We are ready to deliver a top-class event that will reflect how far beach soccer has come in Nigeria. The NBSL Super Finals are not just about competition; they are a celebration of growth, inclusion, and social responsibility,” Hadeija stated.

This year’s Super Finals will feature six elite teams divided into two competitive groups:
Group A
Kebbi Fishers Beach Soccer Club
Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors
Ibom Beach Soccer Club
Group B
Kada Beach Soccer Club
Jigawa Golden Star Beach Soccer Club
Kebbi United Beach Soccer Club

Hadeija highlighted that the teams have shown great quality throughout the league season and that fans should expect an explosive finale full of passion, flair, and beach soccer artistry.
In a historic addition to the event, the NBSL will host a special women’s exhibition game aimed at boosting female participation and setting the foundation for a future Women’s Nigeria Beach Soccer League.
“We are determined to promote inclusivity in beach soccer. The women’s exhibition game is part of our long-term plan to establish a female league that will encourage wider participation and growth,” he explained.
The Super Finals will also feature a Novelty Match tagged #KickawayCancer, dedicated to raising awareness about cancer prevention and early detection — a cause that underscores the NBSL’s commitment to using sport as a tool for positive social impact.
“The KickawayCancer campaign goes beyond football. It’s about saving lives and creating awareness through the unifying power of sports,” Hadeija added.

To further elevate the spectacle, Hadeija revealed that top sports administrators, ex-internationals, former beach soccer players, and celebrities have all signed up to participate in the four-day program — adding glamour and excitement to the tournament.
“Their involvement reflects the growing recognition of beach soccer in Nigeria and the belief that sports can be both entertaining and transformative,” he said.
Fans across the world can catch every kick and goal as all matches will be streamed live on Facebook and YouTube, ensuring maximum reach and engagement.
