President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engineer Musa Nimrod, has congratulated the Nigeria Customs Service women’s volleyball team after their straight-sets victory over the Ghana Air Force to win the 2025 Super Volleyball Championship in Accra.

Nigeria Customs sealed the title with a 3–0 win (25–20, 25–23, 25–14) on Sunday at the Borteyman Sports Complex, completing the tournament unbeaten.
In a statement, Nimrod praised the players, technical crew and management for what he described as a disciplined and consistent performance. He said the result reflects the growing competitiveness of Nigerian volleyball and provides encouragement for other local clubs.
“The entire volleyball community is proud of the Nigeria Customs team,” Nimrod said. “Their determination and exceptional display in Accra show the quality of talent Nigeria possesses. This victory demonstrates what can be achieved with hard work and proper support.”

The NVBF president also acknowledged the Nigeria Customs Service leadership for continued investment in sports development, particularly in volleyball, where the service has produced several national players over the years.
Nimrod urged the team to maintain the momentum as Nigerian clubs look to build stronger continental presence in the coming seasons.
